Want to know how come the site your competing with is ranked higher than your site? Most likely the answer lies within the number of backlinks and the keywords they have for those backlinks. Easily enough you can find out how their doing it. You can find out where their getting their visitors from and how popular the websites linking to them are. Ultimately if you use all of this information, you can overtake their ranking in the search engines listing.
So where to start.. This method is short and sweet.. of course you could expand onto it how you wish with what you know about your niche.. this knowledge is just shared for spoon feeding the newbie, and a trick for the pros.
Step 1) Type your competitors site name into the search @ http://www.backlinkwatch.com
Step 2) Be conscious of link directories, article directories, news publications and social bookmarking sites.
Step 3) Try to find the best keywords that suit your site and take away the best ones of your competitor when re posting back links on the same site(s) as your competitor.
