I know a lot of people who play World of Warcraft.. Out of the 11 Million people who are subscribed to the game theres a lot of money to be made off the playerbase.
The methods I’m gonna write about can be used for practically all niches. So if you can master World of Warcraft marketing you can master it for just about any other niche.
According to CNet, the market may be as large as $880 million or more! (article: here) People are already paying $15 a month for the gaming experience, they also routinely purchase gold online from overseas services for hundreds of dollars. In fact, a single game account can sell for THOUSANDS of dollars. Considering that it can take months of time to level a character and become “rich” this all makes sense.
First off.. your probably curious what kinda products can you sell WoW players? Well you don’t actually have to sell a physical good.. you don’t have to even stock a product… in fact you can never run out of stock when selling digital goods.
ALL WoW Players are interested in the following:
- Getting rich! By use of — buying eBooks on making Gold.. Buying Gold from Farmers, using hacks to give them the upper hand and make them rich, and using bots to farm gold for them.
- Getting to level 80.. By use of — buying Power Leveling.. buying eBooks on strategies to level up 1-80.. and using bots to level for them while their away. Or even purchasing an already level 80 WoW account.
Now look at how many affiliate links I was able to fit into those 2 very generalized facts about WoW players main interests! There isn’t just 1 ebook on making WoW gold, theres at least 10! That means 10 different WoW guides you can share the profit from by simply advertising it to your guild, your friends, and people on the WoW websites you frequent. There are easily over 100 websites that sell WoW gold, with at least 80% of them offering affiliate signups meaning you can earn commission from refering your friends there as well. Most websites that sell WoW gold also sell power leveling.. bam another thing to tack on to an order and earn you even more commission. You can even make commission refering users to the many different World of Warcraft bots from MMOGlider to InnerSpace OpenBot. It doesn’t stop there. The popular multi-hack tool, WoW Infinity even offers its members the ability to earn commissions refering their friends as well.
So if you’ve never joined an affiliate program this may seem sort’ve intimidating at first. How are you gonna send out your link to people and get them all to signup? Well heres a twist on the idea. Register a domain name from GoDaddy.com preferably a .info if you want something for $1.99 and simply setup the domain to forward to your affiliate link. Now all you have to do is tell your friends/guildmates who want WoW Gold to go to your gold site.. who knows maybe they’ll purchase some power leveling and you’ll make even more $$$.
